To all who use it according to your understanding. Father in our family doesnot mean you call them according as what others believe in calling their elders as father for maybe some of you do not understand what really Lord Jesus is trying to emphasize: Eph 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. If you look on the organization of catholics or other denominations they love to be called to be as according to their positions. Whereas an earthly father is a kind of a common use for a children to their earthly parents. So, in the final argument, children who call their father as father or dad is totally a different view and not related to what Lord Jesus is telling about in His teaching but it’s about the pride of men in their hearts. for to me it is very unbiblical to call them father. Besides, there is no biblical reference to call the elders of the church father.
It’s a father in faith but not to the point of calling them father. They are only considered the elder meaning knows how to feed them accordingly as Lord Jesus commanded Peter in John 21. For if you understand the thought of Mat 23:9, you yourself will be ashame if you’re an elders of a catholic organization, for what Lord Jesus Christ is saying is all about in your hearts. If you are a True Born Again Christian, you even feel exalted about such address. Do you? feeling exalted for people has high regards to you;Act 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. That all is equal in the eyes of God. Meaning, we have to respect one another but not to hte point that we seems to give glory to our elders, for they are sinners like ourselves too. So to me call them brother in Christ is the more appropriate rather than father, and maybe pastor is more appropriate; John 21.
1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
That only the Holy Spirit within a True Born Again Christians understand God’s Holy Words. for truly the Holy Spirit is the only qualified to interpret God’s Holy Words. Those fathers mentioned in the bible doesnot mean we have to call our elders father but they are father according to order of wisdom and maturity and not to the point of calling them father for there is only one Holy Father we have, our LORD God Almighty in heaven. That even Christ Jesus Himself has shown us how to pray, when He pray to the Father God in heaven which is showing us in giving the glory and honor to the One who truly deserves the glory and not to men with passion like ourselves. Most of us can’t see the truth of Mat 23:9-10, for we are just merely carnal and sinners! Therefore; John 3:7 is what most of us needs in order to see it.

The requirements are less rigorous than the MA degree in math. What I would like to know is if colleges are aware of this degree, is it respected, is it enough to get a professorship at a community college, and is getting this degree from a very well respected institution like University of Florida impressive enough to be a cc math prof? Or would I be more competitive getting an MA in math from a lessor respected university?
Basically, I’m starting to think in terms of taking quickest, easist path that will lead me to a tenure tract professorship at a community college.
Additionally, do you think focusing on being a college algebra teacher at a cc would make me more likely to get a job sooner than say calculus? I’m better prepared to to master college algebra than calc, and I figure there are many more sections of this course. I know this is many questions…I appreciate your perspective. Thanks

we are moving in to a brand new house (just built) and the entire house is white. id like to paint at least the bathrooms. the bathroom vanities are white with tank streaks, kitchen has tan counters, floors are tan…. etc.

i was thinking tan walls for the master bath but it seems that would make the house too tan. now im thinking a dark red or dark brown with the other color for towels and bath mats, etc….

any suggestions?

oh and we have a window in the master bath so a dark color wouldnt neccessarily make the room too dark.
2nd bath is a kids bathroom…. light blue walls with yellow ducks?

I am a recent college graduate(as of May 06). I have had a unsucessful time at finding decent employment.They always want someone with more experience or they act as though they will hire me then find out I am getting my Masters degree. They always react YOU are getting a masters? in disbelief. Then of course they never call back. It seems to me my pursuit of graduate degree is hindering me in someways( I know it may sound ridiculous). I have my undergrad degree in history and I am seeking my MAT K-6. I have read that my earning power will only go up by like 5,000 bucks a year which to me isnt much at all.Anyway,I can’t find a job anywhere, or at least one that pays well enough for me to take care of myself.The decent jobs I have found require me to work Saturdays or at least one a month.I have to attend school every single Saturday this summer so it’s not gonna work.I just don’t know what to do anymore,maybe I should quit considering I won’t be able to take care of myself.
I am interested in the insurance business and got a job offer as a claims adjuster trainee with the Saturday rotation. My mom’s friend started off that way and she is on the top of her career now making six figures(she worked her way up, she has a bachelors only). Does a Masters even matter or is it all about experience. Also should I just work now or pursue my Masters and lose everything. Oh here is the crazy thing, my masters is free to me and I get refund money back but its not enough.So I am in a really weird position…
FYI My undergraduate degree is in History. Writing, research, and critical thinking skills are all key in this major, not just memorizing dates which is a popular belief:( I chose it since it can be used on such a broad range of careers(law, education,journalism,etc…)
