How do I get my car mats back to almost new condition?

World of Warcraft – Is there any point to Leatherworking specialization?

But it appears that all of the recipes are sold by all of the leather masters, regardless of your specialization. So what exactly is the point to completing these quests besides spending god-awful amounts of time and money to find all the mats and create all the items? Is there some Burning Crusade aspect that comes into play later on, or something? I haven’t upgraded to BC yet, as I’ve only been playing for 4 months and haven’t reached the limits of entertainment provided by the regular game (only lvl 35 on my main). Thanks for the help, guys.
