Hello. I currently have a BS in Information Technology and wanted to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I found the MAED program through the University of Phoenix and was assured my dreams would now be able to come true. I can work on the degree from home, which is a plus since I am a USMC wife and mother of three. I am now hearing that this program may fall short of individual state education requirements because it is supposed to be designed for students who already have a degree in education. From what I am hearing, those without an education degree seeking teaching certification should go for the MAT, or Masters of Arts in Teaching. Does anyone have any experience with the MAED program from UOP? Has anyone successfully completed the program and went on to teach? I am in desperate need of prior students to provide their insight on this program. I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Problem of a deaf person having severe emotional complications due to unadjustibility with the social environments of all levels. Though educated in the mainstreme and having master’s degree in physics, can’t find it easy to communicate with others in smooth, tactful manners as normal people do, cause of his deafness ( 90% ).
